Turtle Creek Red Blend NV - Grown and produced in Texas, this non-vintage private label red is a blend of Tannat, Merlot and Zinfandel. Offering bright cherry notes on the nose and a nice red brick minerality on the mid palate, this medium bodied wine finishes with a vibrant structure and a smooth, spice finish.
Food Pairing - Pairs well with barbecue and meats, creamy seafoods and pastas.

Tried this wine on our Turtle creek vinyard tour during Texas wine month. Bought a bottle to take home. Wow! After decanting for about 30 minutes, the wine opened up wonderfully. Such a nice blend! Zinfandel and Merlot bringing out fruit and Tannat is coming through wonderfully with cardamon notes. I am enjoying this wine on its own, but I am sure it will pair well with food. Thank you Turtle creek for making this great blend. Showing us all that there is some amazing wine in Texas!
